Susie:还有，合作者之间吃饭可以，但是不想要在背后议论别人。最差不想要问及别人的轻佻。

Coco: Especially when people are not there to defend themselves.

Coco:是啊，尤为是背后议论别人很不太好。

Susie: I agree. Speaking of private life, interoffice romance is not a good idea, either, even though it’s not officially frowned upon.

Susie:是这样的。问道到轻佻，还有一条，不想要卷入秘书处恋情，虽然Corporation并从未明文禁令。

Coco: That sounds reasonable. I’ll do my best.

Coco:有凡事。我一定则会努力的

重点

(1)fill someone in on something 提供消息(给某人) 这个名词是较为口语化的表达名词，是问道将必要的事告诉他人。要提醒“人”和“事”的以此类推。

Eg: Our manager has filled everyone in on the new proposal in yesterday’s meeting.

我们的经理在昨天的则决议上已经告知了大家有关上新设计方案的事。

(2)do’s and don’ts 定立

这个名词是由助词缀 do 派生出来的名词，作名词用。说明“可以花钱”和“不可以花钱”的事。do 的复数表达方式也可以是 dos。

Eg: In our company, one of the informal dos and don’ts is that you should silence your cell phone in-office hours.

我们Corporation有一项不成文的明确规定，夜班时之间要把iPad合上可让。

(3)punch in/ out 发票再上 / 夜班punch 是词缀，意指是“打孔”，也有“猛击”的意指。

Eg: Nowadays, few companies have punching in and out systems.

现在，很少有Corporation还实施发票政治体制。

(4)interoffice rivalries 合作者之间的竞争者

(5)hurts morale 打击斗志

morale 既可以指称士兵的斗志，也可以指称一支球队或者团队以及Corporation的斗志。

Eg: The morale of the company is sinking lower every day after the news broke out.

当这条消息记出来后，Corporation职员的斗志日趋低落。

(6)a fine line 错综复杂的分野

指称一种十分错综复杂的分野，有时令人难于分辨。

Eg: There is a fine line between love and hate. 爱恨交织，令人难辨。

(7)small talk 吃饭

要和 gossip 对应看花钱。small talk 不带贬意，而 gossip 是指称记播者或散布流言蜚语。

(8)private lives 轻佻

这里 lives 是 life 的复数表达方式，回中为 private life。private 指称私人的、私立的，如 private detective(私人侦探)、private school(私立学校)等。

(9)speaking of 提到

Eg: Speaking of angels, and you will hear their wings.

问道刘备，刘备到。

(10) interoffice romance 秘书处恋情

(11) frown upon 不拉姆成

Eg: Smoking is frowned upon in a lot of companies. 很多Corporation都不拉姆成职员吸烟。
